This gorgeous coffee table model BO 750 was designed by Preben Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm for Bo-Ex in the seventies.
The table has a wenge wood top with a black slate tile in the middle, supported by a minimalist matte chromed-plated steel frame. The wenge wood has an attractive hue and a striking expressive grain patterns throughout. With a sleek and timeless design this well-crafted piece of Scandinavian aesthetics is in excellent condition with regular usage-related traces of wear.
The design bears witness to the duo's radical approach towards designing furniture.

Preben Fabricius (1931–1984) & Jørgen Kastholm (1931–2007) were Danish architects and designers known for their influential contributions to Mid-Century modern furniture and interior design. Collaborating closely, the duo created iconic pieces that became synonymous with the sleek and functional aesthetics of the era.
Preben Fabricius began his career as a cabinetmaker before studying at the School of Interior Design in Copenhagen. Jørgen Kastholm, on the other hand, initially trained as a blacksmith before pursuing studies in architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Their diverse backgrounds brought a unique blend of craftsmanship and architectural insight to their collaborative work. In the early 1960s, Fabricius and Kastholm formed a partnership that would result in some of the most iconic furniture designs of the period. Their creations often featured clean lines, geometric shapes, and a meticulous attention to detail, reflecting the principles of Danish modernism. The duo was particularly renowned for their work in steel, producing minimalist and functional designs that exuded a sense of timeless elegance.
