This lightweight captivating piece was designed by famed Massimo Iosa Ghini who is recognised for his contribution to the Bolidist Movement and his involvement with the Memphis Group, alongside star architects such as Ettore Sottsass and Michael Graves. Iosa Ghini is acclaimed for his streamlined and organic designs, demonstrating his visionary ability to blend disciplines, forms, and dimensions, transcending boundaries between art, design, and architecture. ‘Genio’ is a table formed of a single, thin sheet of glass, whose plane curves and forks to form two legs that ends with wooden sculpted feet while the rest is supported by a singular wooden leg. Ghini’s piece is not just a functional table, it is also an eye catching sculpture which will draw attention as the centre piece of any living room.
The vintage condition is very good, no damages, few fine scratches.
