Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra, round dining ‘Segmented Table' Ø 120 cm, light oak veneer top, chrome-plated base, powder-coated column in basic dark, Switzerland, 2016 as stated on the label.

This iconic round dining ‘Segmented Table’ was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1964 and its story harks back to the 1940s, when Charles and Ray developed the first versions of what later became the table base. These early designs, which already reflect the designer couple’s characteristic method of thinking in systems, were suited for a variety of chairs and tables. The bases used today for the Eames Tables were created in the 1960s in conjunction with the development of the Soft Pad Chairs. This version of the table is finished with a light oak veneer top and measure Ø 120 cm, the column is powder-coated in basic dark while the base is chrome-plated for a total height of 72.5 cm.
This item is in excellent condition with regular usage-related traces of wear.
